STINGZ™ Joins Forces with The Sweeper Podcast for New Kit Deal

We have some exciting news - STINGZ™ has joined forces with football podcasting duo, Lee Wingate and Paul Watson, from The Sweeper Podcast, for a project like no other.

STINGZ™ will be the official kit partner for the Sweeper Podcast creating a unique football shirt exclusively for podcast fans to buy.

Paul said of the project: "We have been talking for a while about wanting to create some Sweeper merchandise, and what could be more appropriate than a football shirt?

"We've been big fans of STINGZ™'s work for some time. STINGZ™ have created beautiful kits for teams around the world, from Matabeleland to Malta Knights Rugby League team, but arguably their biggest passion is the Pacific Islands.

STINGZ™ founder, Ernie Stobbs, said: "We're delighted to be teaming up with the pod to create something special. This one will certainly get the creative juices flowing as there's no historic or regional references. That said, this is what we do best. We look forward to the challenge."

STINGZ™ have a strong relationship with Pacific Island Football teams, supporting football on these small island nations to develop sporting opportunities. They have have produced shirts for the Micro Cup futsal tournament in Micronesia in 2023, including the popular Kosrae shirt.

They have worked with Tuvalu, Nauru and the Federated States of Micronesia national teams also, producing shirts, which are sold via the STINGZ™ online shop, with all proceeds going back to the teams, making a huge difference to football development in the region.

Paul added: "We are excited to see what STINGZ™ come up with for The Sweeper's first shirt and our paying Patreon supporters will all get exclusive benefits. The shirt will be available for general sale, but also at a reduced rate to Aficionados and a heavily discounted rate to Ultras, while Board Members will receive one for free.

"Ultras and Board Members will also get the chance to play a role in the design of the jersey.
