Kit sales to aid education in Africa

SALES from one of STINGZ™'s most unique kits will go towards funding education for young girls in Africa.

STINGZ™ partnership with Matabeleland Football Confederacy will see vital funds raised to support children's education in the Matabeleland region of West Zimbabwe.

The football confederacy works to transform the lives of young people through its Sports for Development programme, using football to teach important life skills to young women and girls. 

The aim is to ensure these young women remain in school and finish their education in a region which has high statistics of teenage pregnancy, early marriage and school dropout.

Matabeleland is one of the poorest performing regions in education due to poverty.

MFC kit sponsor and supplier, STINGZ™, has made available its range of official Matabeleland playing jerseys to buy online, with profits going towards funding vital equipment to help young girls in the region continue their education.

Sithabile Ndlovu is one of the young girls who has been assisted by STINGZ™ in partnership with MFC since Grade 6.

Sithabile comes from a community where children barely finish primary school and so far, through this program has finished primary education and will be going for her second year of secondary education Form 2 in 2024.

Sithabile will be on the program until she finishes Form 4 and it is hoped that after finishing her O Levels, she continues with further studies or gets a vocational qualification.

STINGZ™ have pledged to support four students in Matabeleland with stationery needs, including Sithabile, including text books for all subjects, mathematical sets, pens as well as needed textbooks for each particular level and child.
