One Child One Ball, an initiative by the Nauru Soccer Federation, is designed to change that. It lays the foundation not only for football, but for wider social impact—supporting stronger communities, better health outcomes, and greater climate resilience.

This campaign is the first step in a bold, long-term vision to introduce the game and build a sustainable football culture from the ground up.

At the heart of this initiative is a powerful idea:

Every child deserves the chance to play football.

Through this campaign, The Nauru Soccer Federation aims to raise funds from supporters and investors to fund a football for each child on the island of Nauru - for many this will be their first ball. 

But it doesn’t stop there.

Future campaigns will support the deployment of experienced football coaches to the island. These coaches will train local educators and volunteers, creating a sustainable foundation for coaching and opportunities for football to grow within the community.

This is not just about equipment - it’s about education, empowerment, and legacy. And there are many ways you can get involved.
